Hawzah News Agency- The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry welcomed Pope Francis’ positions and remarks on the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip and the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the Strip to practical steps, particularly given the grave severity of famine in the Strip during winter.

It also welcomed his appeal for a ceasefire in Gaza and support for realizing the two-state solution to achieve peace in line with international law and international humanitarian law.

It called on Christian world actors to listen to the Pope and translate his positions into practical steps.
